What's It All About, Alfie?

First, I want to say thank you for reading.

Ryecroft is a personal collection of notes on design, cities and other interesting things that I stumble across. I hope you find something that interests you.

I am a husband, father, Oklahoman, and Christian currently living and working as an architect in New York City. It would be safe to expect that themes of Gotham, architecture, urbanity, sustainability, and faith will be the primary influence on my writing. I’m also married to a wonderful woman – a trained photographer and graphic designer working in the fashion industry. Our shared obsessions with typography, grid layouts and clothing might also appear in these notes.

I should point out that the views expressed on this site are my own, and do not represent those of my employer, family members, or anyone else.

We Come Here to Remember

We come here to remember those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever. May all who leave here know the impact of violence. May this memorial offer comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity.
