I haven’t been able to take advantage of this summer as much as I wanted. Work has been steadily increasing, which is a very good thing considering the past two years, but the easy going, alfresco dining, roof top summer experience has escaped me for the most part.
I must say that weekends have been great, and despite the humid weather, we’ve been able to make the most of it. Using bike rides to discover and revisit favorite neighborhoods, and taking the time to get out of the city has been a priority. The set of images below are a few highlights of the summer so far: Airstream trailers around Esopus Creek, walking Hudson River marshlands, hours of lounging in continuous Central Park shade, sailing up the Hudson River.
Wanderlust is starting to kick in again.
